Our Social Group was re-formed early in 2013 and our current members are Chris Cardosi, Rita Fox, Marlene Kenny, Margaret Sinclair, Pat Smith and Pauline Veal.
We are a lively and friendly group and we provide hospitality for church events and we organise various social events for the parish. We also took ‘ownership’ of the neglected garden at the back of the church which is now a useable space for summer events such as Strawberry Teas and Barbeques!
We are self-funding and raise our monies through our monthly ‘Home Baking Events’ which take place in the church porch directly after 10.00 am Mass on the 1st Sunday of the month. These events are extremely popular and well supported by our talented bakers and discerning eaters!
